Themes

Healthcare and Medication

While direct medical sciences have contributed to most of its advancements, recent years have seen computer sciences compliment it very well. Be it in aggregating services of every doctor in a locality, or a simple application with quick remedies for ailments - the tech party has landed in the healthcare space.

Think of how technology can complement the current healthcare infrastructure. You are expected to come up with innovative solutions built for process and digital transformation for the healthcare industry.

e-Education

As the world shifts to online learning, teachers are struggling to motivate disengaged students remotely. We are looking for innovative solutions to tackle these challenges and improve the remote education experience, and allow users to continue without disruption even in events like snow days, natural disasters, or the COVID-19 pandemic, that force schools and universities to close down.

Design solutions that would improve and lift up the educational sector of the nation and encourage people to learn new skills by developing applications on improving the rate of the skill. Propose and execute moonshot ideas to help learners of various universities and research institutes across the world to learn online.

Smart Travel and Experiences

In the last decade, many offline services have been enhanced by the power of the mobile internet.

Itinerary planning and location-based recommendations and before you knew it, there was a whole suite of tech products for the traveller. Now, there are computers on vehicles - some so powerful that they don’t need a driver.

Travel technology, coupled with IoT and other already existing technology services can add a lot more value for the traveller.

Better enroute recommendations? Or even a simple music player that chooses genres based on a place or people you’re travelling with? There’s a lot that you can do. What’s your next big idea?

Fintech and Banking Innovation

FinTech innovations have been at the forefront of tech disruptions in recent years. Technologies such as mobile banking, mobile payment, and biometrics have changed how many consumers interact with their banks and financial institutions every day.

Blockchain and cryptocurrencies have become a known phenomenon in recent years, but their real disruption potential in the financial industry has yet to be seized. The challenge is not only in providing newer and more innovative services that either benefit a customer or helps investors and bankers make better decisions.

If you can build new and innovative financial solutions, while building a cyber fort Knox, then Fintech needs you. You are expected to build innovative solutions and products for the hackathon for the Fintech Industry.

The Wildcard

Can’t find a suitable theme for your innovative solution? Do you have an idea that is completely out of the box?

If so, the Wildcard challenge is for you! Use technology with your developer skills to create a unique and useful solution!
